Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup salted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp teaspoon sea salt flakes, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Gradually add this mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the toffee bits, chocolate chips and caramel sauce.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle the sea salt flakes on top of the batter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
