How do you do make mango jam?
- Wash, peel, and remove the core of the mango
- Chop the mango into quarter-inch chunks.
- Juice of one lemon
- Add lemon juice, mango, and 1/2 cup of sugar to a saucepan.
- Heat to a boil
- After 5 minutes and Mango has softened mash with a fork or blend with an immersion blender for a smoother jam.
- Continue to simmer on medium/ low heat until thick approximately 20 minutes.
- Transfer jam to jars and allow to cool.

Mango Jam/ Jelly Recipe

Equipment
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Knife
- 2-3 Jars with lids
- 1 Immersion blender or regular blender
- 1 Saucepan
Ingredients
- 3 cups Mango (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 Juice of one lemon
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and core mangos
- Chop mangos into 1/4-inch pieces
- Add lemon juice, sugar, and mango chunks to a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Use an immersion blender or standard blender to puree the jam to desired your consistency.
- Simmer for 15 minutes more minutes on meduim/ low heat. The mixture should thicken to a jam-like consistency.
- Transfer to jars using a spatula
- Allow the strawberry jam/ jelly to cool.
- Jam can be stored in the fridge for a month or frozen for up to 6 months
